PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS

(ALL

POSITIONS

): Frequent walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting and carrying (up to 60 lbs), stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Ability to operate hand and power tools and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Work outside and inside, on slippery or uneven walking surfaces, ladders, scaffolding, mobile elevated work platforms, and around machinery with moving parts. Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, excessive noises, fumes and potentially toxic chemicals. Ability to wear a respirator. Frequent travel within the tri-county area (Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade Counties).

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

(ALL

POSITIONS

): High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior experience is required for painters and preferred for other positions. Must be able to perform primary duties in a satisfactory manner and show a willingness to learn and adhere to high company standards regardless of background or experience. Must be reliable and able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with occasional mandatory overtime. Schedule varies according to client/project requirements, but first shift hours are standard. May require occasional late shift/weekend work/hourly adjustments. Must work safely and comply with all Corporate Health & Safety standards. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job sites. Must pass a background check and drug testing, at time of hire and as required throughout employment to comply with both company and client-specific criteria.

WATERPROOFING/CAULKING MECHANICS

(FULL-TIME) Waterproofing/Caulking Mechanics work in both new construction and restoration environments and are expected to work well within a team structure. Our Mechanics always represent our organization in a professional manner by upholding the highest standards of conduct, cleanliness, orderliness, safety and quality. Responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction of the completed job; work area protection; surface preparation; installing caulking in expansion, contraction, and control joints utilizing silicone, urethane and acrylic-based sealants. Apply both hot and cold waterproofing materials in above grade and below grade environments. Install insulation and fireproofing. Maintain and organize material and equipment. Other responsibilities as assigned.
