Job Description

  • Welder / Millwright (Direct Placement Opportunity)
  • Location:
  • South Orlando, FL
  • Schedule:
  • Day Shift (Typically 7:30 AM - ~5:00 PM; end time varies)
  • Overtime Expectations:
  • Monday-Friday with approximately 2 Saturdays per month and occasional Sundays
  • Compensation:
  • $80,000 - $110,000+ annually ((hourly + OT) + bonuses (uncapped earning potential))

  • with a high-production industrial facility in South Orlando. This role supports ongoing plant operations in an outdoor environment, focusing on maintaining and repairing conveyor systems and heavy industrial equipment. This is a hands-on position combining advanced mechanical work and welding to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Perform mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment installations + Maintain and repair conveyor systems and industrial machinery + Diagnose and troubleshoot motors, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics + Complete conveyor system changes and maintenance activities (reactive and preventative) + Perform stick welding (horizontal and vertical) for repairs and fabrication + Safely operate air arc equipment, cutting torches (propane/oxygen), and welding tools + Conduct inspections to identify and prevent potential equipment failures + Document maintenance work and communicate equipment status updates + Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, skid steers, and high reaches + Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime + Adhere to safety standards in an outdoor industrial environment + Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete daily tasks and projects •Qualifications•+ Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting + •Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills•+ Experience with conveyor systems and industrial equipment maintenance + •Proficiency in stick welding (must be able to pass a weld test)•+ Knowledge of motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics + Experience operating air arc equipment and cutting torches + Ability to safely operate heavy equipment (forklifts, skid steers, lifts) + Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions + Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed •Why Apply•+ Direct hire opportunity with long-term stability + Uncapped earning potential with base pay plus bonuses + Work with a high-performing maintenance team in a fast-paced environment + Opportunity to apply both mechanical and welding expertise •Job Type & Location•This is a Permanent position based out of Orlando, FL.
