Record data in the I5 system. Perform set up tasks and checks including but not limited to: ensure correct wire will be used; ensure welding wire and pointer are aligned with the center of the weld seam bevel. Ensure the welding parameters are set properly to begin welding process. Operate the roll lines to position pipe properly. Mark weld's starting position with soapstone. Perform ID welding process per SOP. Ensure pipe has maintained the weld's interpass temperature of 250 Ensure all functions are working properly. Ensure proper weld alignment. Change wire as needed. Maintain an adequate supply of wire. Remove slag from weld seam bevel and boom support wheels. Assist in all clamp changeovers. Perform TPEM operator tasks. Perform area housekeeping tasks Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Work Experience High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Heavy industrial manufacturing experience (Preferred) Must be able to work rotating schedules, which may include nights and weekends, and work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
