About the Role As a Production Machine Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining high-efficiency manufacturing standards by operating complex equipment and ensuring optimal output quality. You will leverage your mechanical expertise to troubleshoot technical challenges, mentor junior team members, and drive continuous improvement in our production processes. Responsibilities Operate industrial machinery to meet or exceed production targets for efficiency, waste reduction, and quality control. Perform proactive equipment troubleshooting and mechanical adjustments to resolve operational bottlenecks. Analyze production data to identify and implement innovative solutions for recurring technical issues. Document production metrics, including machine uptime and output quantities, to ensure accurate reporting. Conduct rigorous quality inspections to detect defects and perform necessary machine calibrations to maintain product integrity. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced operators to foster a high-performing team environment. Maintain a safe and organized workspace by strictly adhering to standard operating procedures and safety protocols. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proven mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform complex equipment setups and changeovers. Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and resolving technical machine malfunctions. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration. Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Skills Experience with CNC machine setup and precision adjustments. Prior experience in a high-volume, continuous production setting. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and waste reduction strategies. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics for equipment maintenance.
