Job Description

We are looking for a
SOLID FUELS OPERATOR
to join our Buffalo, Iowa location. As a Solid Fuels Operator with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will receive, prepare, and feed high-quality waste fuel materials into the recycling process to support efficient and reliable plant operations. Role Responsibilities:
Receive, prepare, and feed fuel materials at a consistent rate (up to 13 tons/hour). Operate production and mobile equipment. Use basic maintenance tools, including hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment. Monitors equipment to ensure continuous operations, troubleshoots problems, investigates failures, and takes correct action. Conducts operating and minor maintenance on equipment and assists the maintenance crew in significant repairs.
About You We Require:
A high school diploma or GED. A minimum of 1-year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience. Experience operating, inspecting, and troubleshooting equipment. Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills. Experience operating mobile equipment and production equipment. Computer literacy.
