Job Description
Description Millwright As a Millwright at Landus, you will play a key role in supporting the maintenance team to ensure the reliable operation of equipment and facilities. You will perform maintenance tasks, assist with repairs, and apply your mechanical and technical skills to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems. This position involves travelling to multiple locations to support maintenance needs, with no overnight travel required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Includes but not limited to the following: Responsible for repairing and building on site equipment and assets. Perform maintenance on equipment. Teach employees proper preventative maintenance procedures on equipment. Maintain and update maintenance records Plan, organize, and coordinate workload and support employees that help with projects at locations. Prioritize jobs through the supervisor. Understand how work is billed across locations and departments and support the department's financial impact. Use effective communication with employees and locations to ensure timely and prompt project management. Provide seasonal support to all departments. Requirements
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Comfortable working at heights and in elevated environments.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or relevant experience preferred.
- Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a mechanical or maintenance role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with commercial grain elevator and agronomy equipment.
- Ability to use an iPad/computer and navigate maintenance systems or related software.
- Understanding of the seasonality and workload demands of an agricultural cooperative.
