Machine Install Technician

Installations Engineer Mazak Optonics Corporation is a world leader in industrial laser cutting technology. We presently have openings for Installations Engineers. Successful candidates will possess a positive attitude and take pride in their work. This position does require 100% travel within North America Monday through Friday. Responsibilities Perform proper machine installation and standard maintenance. Perform customer training on machine operation and maintenance. Analyze machine/user malfunctions and resolve in a professional manner. Competencies and Qualifications A minimum of a Technical Associates Degree or the equivalent experience with hand tools, mechanical repairs, electronics repair and troubleshooting. Possession of a valid driver's license and passport Work Environment The work environment is a typical factory environment that requires the ability to interact with employees, customers, and vendors on a regular basis. The noise level in the work environment may be noisy with extreme temperature changes. Physical Demands While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, kneel, squat, bend, climb and reach. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 50 lbs or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
