Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Troubleshoots and repairs moderate to complex equipment problems. Reads blueprints, understands plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic and basic electrical systems. Understands the basic principles of the extrusion and production processes and materials used. Welds and assists in the installation, modification and operation of production equipment. Performs mold changes and modifications. Follows plant preventative maintenance procedures. Is capable of data entry and some analysis of Maintenance Management System (OOPS). Follows and participates in plant safety/housekeeping guidelines designed to ensure a safe work environment. Remains compliant with
SQF / HACCP
requirements as per this location's written "Food Safety & Quality Policy" Must be able to work 545a- 6p, and every other weekend
QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE 1-2
years of related experience and/or training and/or completion of the Maintenance I, Skills Assessment.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to print simple sentences and legibly complete reports and time cards. Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
