Job Description
We are seeking skilled, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our growing excavation team. This position plays a key role in supporting excavation, descaling, and site preparation projects. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, operates equipment safely and efficiently, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. This is a hands-on role requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities Operate and assist with excavation, descaling, and site preparation equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Prepare job sites daily by organizing tools, materials, and machinery to ensure smooth project execution. Follow supervisor instructions and project specifications to complete assigned tasks accurately and on schedule. Perform digging, grading, trenching, soil compaction, and debris removal as required for site development. Support contractors and crew members with construction, repair, and restoration tasks. Maintain strict compliance with all safety policies and OSHA regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly. Clean and secure tools, materials, and machinery at the end of each shift to maintain organization and job site safety. Work efficiently in outdoor environments, including heat, cold, wind, and rain. Compensation This position offers performance-based commission compensation.
Commission Rate:
16%-20%, based on performance and role.Typical Earnings:
Approximately $200-$300+ per dig day sold. Higher performance levels qualify for higher commission percentages. Commission earnings are performance-based and not guaranteed. High performers have the opportunity to consistently earn at the top of the commission range. Experience in excavation, construction, landscaping, or related field preferred. Ability to operate or learn to operate excavation and grading equipment. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.
