Field Operator

In this hands-on role, you will work on-site at industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, and job sites across the region, performing critical cleaning and surface preparation services using our Mobile Industrial Vac Units, mobile blasting pots, and manual cleaning equipment. Your work will help keep our clients' operations running smoothly by tackling their toughest messes in challenging environments. Duties Operate mobile industrial vacuum units (diesel-powered vac and central vac systems) to clean industrial facilities, manufacturing floors, and job sites Operate mobile blasting pots for surface preparation, coating removal, and specialty cleaning applications on select projects Perform manual cleaning tasks using brooms, shovels, scrapers, and other hand tools to prepare sites for vacuuming or final cleanup Assist with setting up blasting and vacuuming equipment and preparing work areas according to job specifications and safety requirements Inspect and perform basic maintenance on vacuum units, blasting equipment, and hand tools to ensure proper operation Transport materials, debris, blasting media, and equipment safely between job sites using company vehicles Communicate with site supervisors and clients to understand job requirements and ensure customer satisfaction Follow OSHA safety standards and company protocols while working in hot, dirty, and industrial environments Maintain detailed records of job completion, equipment usage, and materials for compliance and billing purposes Qualifications Previous experience in industrial cleaning, sandblasting, construction, manufacturing, or general labor preferred Valid driver's license with clean driving record (CDL a plus but not required) Ability to operate industrial equipment such as blasting pots, vacuum units, pressure washers, and hand tools Strong mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn equipment operation and basic troubleshooting Physical stamina to work in hot, dirty, and demanding environments for extended periods Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and on industrial job sites Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, PPE requirements, and hazardous materials handling is a plus Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team Willingness to travel locally to job sites throughout the region What We Offer Join us at DB Blasting, where your hard work directly contributes to the success of our clients and our company!
