POSITION SUMMARY

Analyze, diagnose, adjust, and repair a variety of equipment with electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. Perform installations, preventative maintenance, and modifications on production equipment and facility systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 Read and interpret maintenance manuals and other technical documentation to analyze and diagnose equipment issues.  Read and interpret technical documentation to perform equipment installations.  Utilize computer-based programs (e.g., Access) to obtain maintenance instructions for preventive maintenance programs and work orders.  Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories using hand and power tools.  Utilize computer-based purchasing systems to acquire parts, components, and tools necessary for repairs and installations.  Communicate and coordinate with other departments to schedule preventive maintenance, repairs, and equipment installations.

Education High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Experience 3-5 years' experience in maintenance or a mechanical improvement environment
