South Industrial Sheet Metal (SISM) | Salina, KS If you're a skilled welder who takes pride in precision work and solving real-world challenges, we want to talk to you. As part of Superior Contracting & Manufacturing Services Co. - recently named Best Place to Work by the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce - South Industrial Sheet Metal (SISM) is growing our team. What we're looking for: Minimum 1 year of welding experience Experience with MIG, TIG and ARC welding Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to obtain structural welding certifications in ARC Welding Physical ability to handle materials and work in a shop and field environment What you'll do: Perform MIG, TIG and ARC welding to fabricate and assemble metal components and structures Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly Operate tools and equipment such as saws, grinders, and drills Measure, cut, and prepare materials for proper fit and alignment Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards Maintain equipment and keep a clean, safe work environment Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines Document work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered Contribute ideas to improve processes and efficiency Take pride in your work as part of an employee-owned company Why SISM?
