Job Title:
Lead Foreman Job Description We are seeking an experienced Lead Foreman to oversee and coordinate a crew at a tire production plant. This role involves setting up sites, taking measurements, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring equipment is aligned according to customer specifications. The successful candidate will assist the superintendent with daily operations and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities Oversee the crew and ensure efficient site setup. Take accurate measurements and interpret blueprints. Align equipment for customers as per specifications. Support the superintendent in day-to-day operations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Essential Skills Experience in machine installation and heavy manufacturing equipment. Leadership skills with at least 1 year of experience in a general labor role. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in the rubber industry is advantageous. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work will primarily take place in a tire production plant, which can be warm and dirty. Employees will be exposed to a distinct burnt rubber smell and may get black carbon dust on their clothes and body. Expect to work long hours, including 12-hour shifts and weekends, in a challenging yet rewarding environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Topeka, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.06 - $32.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
