Job Description
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of, but are not limited to the following. Monitor the preventative maintenance programs to ensure that facilities and equipment are cared for on a proactive basis. Complete all preventative maintenance tasks on a timely basis. Troubleshoot and complete comprehensive repairs to thermal spray equipment through knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, and related skills Troubleshoot and repair vacuum furnaces, leak testing, pump and motor repairs, heating elements, thermocouple replacements, and resolve other electrical-mechanical issues. Working knowledge and operation of Fanuc robots is a plus. Experience working with and troubleshooting high voltage 480 VAC and controls circuits. Evaluate maintenance requests to understand problems and determine the best resolution Maintain operating condition of buildings and equipment Operate common hand or power tools Observe all safety rules in the production areas: Wearing Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Follow lock out/tag out procedures Follow proper tie-off procedures Use digital maintenance management system to track work and log information related to completed tasks Maintain documentation and reports related to environmental and regulatory requirements. Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position. Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.

Physical & Mental Demands:
The following physical and mental demands consist of, but are not limited to the following.- Must be able to work in industrial environment at elevated heights and in confined spaces.
- Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.
- Ability to bend, pull, stoop, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and reach to perform functions.
- Ability to move/lift up to 50 lbs.
- May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.
- Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.
- Ability to hear in person and via phone.
