Job Description

Location:
Morehead, KY Job Description:
The industrial maintenance technician is responsible for a wide range of duties, including installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment, drawing on both mechanical and electrical knowledge. We are currently looking to fill one full-time position.
Shift:
6:00 pm - 4:30 am
Compensation:
Hourly, based on skills and experience
Job Duties:
Perform routine repairs and maintain all equipment (mechanical and electrical) to enhance efficiency and prevent malfunctions that could lead to production downtime and costly repairs. Troubleshoot malfunctions (mechanical and electrical) and locate the source of problems by examining the equipment Assist in line changes and process improvements. Clean equipment, lubricate moving parts, change fluids as needed, modify equipment as necessary, and replace parts and components as required. Maintain records of all maintenance activities. Conduct preventive maintenance measures on structures, equipment, electrical, plumbing, and facilities. Control downtime by informing production employees of routine preventive maintenance techniques and monitoring compliance. Support and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results and training production employees on efficient operation and basic routine maintenance procedures Maintain a positive work environment by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with co-workers, customers, clients, and management. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including proper lockout/tagout procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-5 years of manufacturing experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication required Must be reliable and motivated Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance techniques
Physical Requirements:
While performing job duties, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, use a computer, and reach with hands and arms. Use Personal Protective Equipment Stand constantly and/or move in and around work areas. Climb ladders/catwalks/equipment, stoop, bend, and/or crawl. Work at elevated heights more than 5 feet above floor level Work in awkward positions and tight areas
