Job Description Position Purpose:

Maximize productive time of equipment; improve the reliability and repeatability of production systems. Provide support to production associates as they assume greater responsibility for the maintenance of their own equipment. Coordinate and assist with the equipment installation and start-up.

Essential Functions:

Complete periodical and incidental machine maintenance in an accurate and timely manner. Perform preventative maintenance as outlined on preventative maintenance schedules of equipment manufacture's recommendations. Plan and implement corrective action in conjunction with management direction. Comply with all safety standards and regulations. Maintain building, equipment, and grounds in a clean and orderly manner. Assist in the purchase of maintenance supplies and equipment parts as required or directed.

Education and Training:

Must be a currently enrolled in and working toward a technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or related degree.

Minimum Qualifications:

Working towards associate's degree in industrial maintenance or related degree program or equivalent experience in applicable areas is acceptable. Must have 1-2 years maintenance experience Must be proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, fluid power, mechanical and plumbing systems. Familiarity with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley CNC Controls are needed. Should be familiar with applicable regulatory requirements outlined by OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC, and other state/local organizations. Machining and welding capabilities required Computer literature, i.e., Microsoft Office applications

Physical Demands:

Constant standing, walking, reaching and balancing. Occasional bending, squatting, kneeling and climbing. Minimal sitting and crawling Lift up to 50 lbs. Carry up to 50 lbs. approximately 5 feet. Push/Pull 20-40 lbs. of force 40 feet.
