Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join a high-volume aluminum manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment in a production environment. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment Maintain and repair aluminum extrusion presses and supporting equipment Troubleshoot conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and other rotating equipment Diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic systems, cylinders, valves, and components Troubleshoot electrical systems using a multimeter and electrical schematics Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics Perform equipment changeovers, repairs, adjustments, and installations Complete PMs and accurately document maintenance work Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime Follow all plant safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area What We're Looking For Previous industrial maintenance experience , preferably in a manufacturing environment Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience with motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, and pumps Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and use a multimeter Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics Experience with aluminum extrusion or metal manufacturing is highly preferred Strong understanding of preventative maintenance practices Ability to work independently and respond effectively to breakdowns Strong attendance, reliability, and safety mindset
