Job Description

Interfor is seeking a skilled, safety-minded, and motivated
JOB.TITLE
to join our team in OU.LOCATION, Louisiana. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving industrial equipment throughout the mill to support safe and efficient production operations. This is a Rotating Shift with Starting Pay Range of $31.51-37.19 per hour ; growth potential up to $42.58 per hour based on skill level and experience. What You'll Do Read and understand equipment drawings and blueprints. Perform routine preventative maintenance duties. Cut, weld, and perform fabrication work with different types of steel. Assess and repair machinery and hydraulic problems in a timely manner. Determine shaft sizes, measure up, and build shafts for replacement. Recognize and change sprockets, bearings, and chains etc. Adhere to an absolute lock-out policy, ensuring that the power source is turned off, machine locked out, and tested to ensure isolation. Submit work requests and complete work orders.
Physical Requirements:
Walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. What You Offer At least 3 years of millwright level experience. High School Diploma/Equivalent Preferred. Prior manufacturing/warehouse/lumber operations experience preferred. Ability to work in varying seasonal climate conditions. Demonstrated commitment to safety.
