Job Description

Cuts and shapes metal using a hot torch, or a mechanical device that mixes fuel and air to create heat in a heating or boiler system. The Steel Burner (Worker) A specialized tradesperson on a job site or in a fabrication shop. Uses oxy-fuel torches, plasma cutters, or heat tools to cut and dismantle steel beams and plates. Reads blueprints to size metal parts for structural assembly or scrap. The Equipment Burner (Device) A component inside HVAC furnaces, large boilers, or industrial heaters. Blends gas or oil with air in precise amounts to create a controlled flame. Generates thermal energy for temporary job-site heating or permanent building climate systems.

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
