About the Role As an Industrial Machinery Technician, you will play a vital role in maximizing facility uptime by proactively managing equipment health and resolving complex mechanical challenges. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules to minimize unplanned downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Diagnose and resolve intricate mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system failures to restore operational efficiency. Conduct rigorous equipment inspections to identify and mitigate potential performance bottlenecks before they impact production. Document all maintenance interventions and repairs to maintain accurate asset history and compliance records. Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance workflows and enhance overall equipment effectiveness. Oversee the safe installation and calibration of new machinery to ensure seamless integration into existing lines. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards to foster a secure and productive work environment. Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or a related technical field. Demonstrated proficiency in interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals. Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting principles. Strong analytical mindset with a focus on precision and detail-oriented problem solving. Preferred Skills Technical degree or specialized vocational certification in industrial mechanics. Prior experience working with steam plant systems or related pressurized equipment.
