Our team takes great pride in doing the job right and treating our customers' homes with respect. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority! We are looking for a hardworking, dependable and motivated chimney and fireplace laborer to join our team. This is a hands-on position assisting our experienced lead technicians with chimney and fireplace repairs, installations and related work at residential homes. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys physical labor projects, working outdoors and is eager to learn a skilled trade. Previous chimney or fireplace experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. We are offering TOP PAY for qualified individuals. Main Duties Help prepare job sites, tools and materials. Load, unload and transport tools and materials to and from job sites. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Assist with installation of wood stove inserts, gas inserts, gas fireplaces, gas log sets and electric fireplaces. Assist with installation of gas appliance flue and fireplace flue liners. Perform minor brick and mortar repairs. Set up and safely navigate ladders, scaffolding and other equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Clean up job sites thoroughly upon completion. Learn proper techniques, tools, materials, equipment and safety procedures. Represent the company professional when working in customer's homes. Core Skills Previous construction, chimney, fireplace, roofing, HVAC, plumbing or related home-service experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right candidate. Willingness to learn and take direction. Comfortable with physical labor. Comfortable with heights and ladders. Ability to operate power tools and lift heavy objects. Reliable, punctual, and dependable. Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
