Ishpeming, MI Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Millwrights at our Tilden Mine operation located in Ishpeming, Michigan. Millwrights are responsible for inspecting, installing, adjusting, repairing and maintaining plant machinery.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Inspect, troubleshoot, dismantle, assemble, replace defective parts, and adjust plant machinery Use torch to cut and heat Perform welding and air arc cutting Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-year degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field or at least 2 years of directly related full-time work experience is required Have the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manuals Work safely and wear appropriate personal protective equipment Must be willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidays Must be willing to work overtime Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America. The Company is vertically integrated from mined raw materials, direct reduced iron, and ferrous scrap to primary steelmaking and downstream finishing, stamping, tooling, and tubing.
