Assistant Engineer

Manchester Packaging is a family-owned company seeking skilled individuals to join our team! We are looking for dependable, career minded individuals to work in our blown film manufacturing company. Pay is dependent upon experience. Design and draw part associated with equipment repairs and modifications Assist with the evaluation and coordination of equipment repairs. Assist with planning and management of construction projects. Understand, troubleshoot, and program PLC logic. Maintain and update site drawings using a CAD program Learn and understand Manchester Packaging Company's computer-based maintenance management system Assist the maintenance mechanics in repairs, modifications, troubleshooting, and installation of parts and equipment as needed Other duties as needed. Further discussion upon interview. Previous experience in manufacturing or related industries preferred Self-starter who is eager to learn new things. Familiarity with hand tools and precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and technical writing skills for report preparation. Knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations. Safety First Mindset Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members

Pay:
