Position Summary The Millwright Lead provides hands-on leadership for welding, fabrication, installation, and maintenance projects within a GMP regulated manufacturing environment. This role leads teams, coordinates project activities, and ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and direct teams on large and small projects. Lay out, position, fit, and tack weld parts and assemblies from engineering drawings. Perform weld preparation, structural fit-up, and FCAW welding activities. Coordinate multiple projects and prioritize workloads. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Five or more years of skilled or journeyman welding experience. Ability to pass required structural welding tests within 30 days of hire. Ability to perform full penetration welds in multiple positions. Strong blueprint reading and fabrication skills.
