Job Description
LOCATION
> welding. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and mechanical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess equipment performance. Perform hydraulic system maintenance and repairs, ensuring proper function of fluid power components. Conduct electrical troubleshooting involving low voltage, high voltage, industrial electrician experience, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Operate field service equipment like scissor lifts safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach machinery for maintenance tasks. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and asset history. Support safety protocols by inspecting equipment for hazards, adhering to industry standards such as HVAC/R regulations, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Collaborate with team members on technical sales support by providing expert advice on machinery specifications and maintenance needs. Assist in training new team members on industrial mechanics, schematics interpretation, and safety practices related to manufacturing facility operations. Experience Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on welding expertise across various materials and techniques. Familiarity with hydraulics systems, electrical systems (including high voltage), and troubleshooting using schematics. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS platforms, HVAC/R systems, and precision measuring instruments. Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high safety standards. Knowledge of industrial electrical experience including low voltage systems and use of diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Previous field service experience involving machinery installation or repair at customer sites is highly desirable. Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and customers alike. Background in military service or related discipline that emphasizes discipline, technical skills, or leadership is a plus.
