Performs various machine repair, installation, and maintenance functions on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic factory equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Required to make repairs and performs preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment such as motors, production machines, engines, hydraulics and pneumatic equipment. Use testing equipment and necessary hand and power tools. Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner. Follow proper procedures for lockout. Wear required protective equipment. Wire electrical circuits and controls, and troubleshoot electrical problems. Requisition needed parts and supplies from supervisor necessary to carry out repairs. Snow removal when needed. Must be able to work overtime, mornings and nights, as needed. Self starter with the motivation to complete tasks in a timely manner while prioritizing safety.

Education:

High School Diploma, or equivalent, preferred.
