Regional Travel | Home Every Weekend $24-30/hr + Overtime + Per Diem Hands-On Mechanical & Electrical Field Service Role We are looking for a mechanically inclined Helper Mechanic to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of elevators, lifts, and accessibility equipment throughout the region. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, solving mechanical/electrical problems, traveling to different job sites, and building a long-term career in the elevator and accessibility industry. What You'll Be Doing Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators, lifts, and accessibility equipment Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in the field Work alongside experienced technicians on service calls and job sites Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical instructions Complete service reports and maintenance documentation Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally Participate in occasional after-hours or emergency service support What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred Previous experience in mechanical repair, construction, maintenance, automotive, diesel, HVAC, or field service is a plus Ability to use hand and power tools safely Good communication and customer service skills Comfortable working at heights and in physically active environments Valid driver's license with clean driving record Schedule & Travel Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM
  • 4:00 PM 5-10 hours of overtime weekly Regional travel within 2-3 hours Occasional overnight travel required (25%) Per diem provided for applicable travel Compensation & Benefits $24-30/hr depending on experience Overtime opportunities Full benefits package PTO and paid holidays Per diem for overnight travel Long-term career growth opportunity Ideal Backgrounds
