Job Description

Job Summary Service Techs and Installers needed for specialized sub-atmospheric (Vacuum) steam systems widely used in NY metro hi-rise apartment buildings. Equipment typically serviced and installed includes Centrifugal Pumps (boiler feed, vacuum, condensate) and their associated electrical control circuits, steam traps and pipework including basement and apartment areas, specialized heating control panels and zone valves. Responsibilities and Duties Field Service 5 Boroughs (requires maintaining good drivers license) Winter overtime On-time with reliable good attendance Respectful people skills toward both co-workers and customers Qualifications and Skills • Minimum 3 years experience Heating and Mechanical systems and above average general mechanical skills Valid NY/NJ divers license. Will have license checked. Subject to drug and alcohol testing English proficiency a must including verbal communication and written reports Espanol a plus OSHA safety 30 Hr. Min. Electrical and Controls a plus Piping/fitting a plus Light welding and brazing a plus Light rigging a plus Must be physically fit to work in hot environments, climb stairs and ladders, lift and move heavy equipment. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs from the ground safely. Must be able to work with a partner and independently as necessary.
