Build Manufacturing—an industrial family dedicated to revitalizing American manufacturing by pairing operational excellence with cutting‑edge technology. Your day, your craft Morning starts with a plan: blueprints open, layout lines snapped, safety brief complete. You and the team rig a gearbox into position, align a drive train to tight tolerances using micrometers and optical tools, and lock it down with precision fasteners. After lunch, you might turn a custom bushing on the lathe, support a crane pick, or troubleshoot a conveyor that needs fine‑tuning. Some days are in our shop; others are at mills, plants, and field installations. No two look alike—and that's the point. What you'll tackle Install and commission machinery from layout through final alignment using prints, schematics, and technical drawings. Rig, move, assemble, and set equipment with hoists, dollies, rollers, lifts, and cranes; advanced rigging skills are a plus. Align shafts, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and related systems with precision instruments (micrometers, squares, optical alignment, plumb bobs, rules). Secure components by bolting, welding, riveting, and fastening to foundations and structures. Operate shop machining equipment (lathes, mills) as needed to support installs and repairs. Assist with troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to keep systems running. Work safely—identify hazards on industrial/construction sites and follow OSHA and company standards. What makes you a match Hands-on builder who takes pride in fit, finish, and accuracy—and enjoys collaborating with engineers, machinists, and fabricators. Physically able to climb, lift, work at heights, and enter confined spaces; comfortable indoors/outdoors in all weather. Can read/write in English and interpret mechanical drawings; basic computer and communication skills. Available for a regular full-time, 40-hour day schedule with overtime/flexible hours when required. Background as a millwright, mechanic, or industrial installer is helpful; senior levels (L4-L5) require demonstrated mastery. Grow with us Advance from L1 to L5 through training, mentorship, and progressively complex assignments. We empower you to take on responsibility at the pace you can handle, backed by a highly competent team. Compensation & incentives The hourly rate for this role is expected to range from $27.00 to $55.00, depending on education and years of experience. You'll also be eligible for our annual bonus plan and our long term incentive plan. We want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operate
