Job Description
Contract Fitter We are currently hiring a skilled Contract Fitter to join our team in Akron. As a Contract Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various mechanical systems in accordance with blueprints and specifications. This is a contract position with accommodation provided, suitable for men with experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools
- Install and maintain mechanical systems such as pumps, valves, and pipes
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues that arise during installation or maintenance
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and on schedule
- Comply with safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good physical stamina and strength
