$24.00

•$32.00/hr. + $1.00/hr. shift differential Job Summary The Tooling Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting molds, tooling, fixtures, and related equipment to support production operations. This role performs preventive and predictive maintenance, mold repairs, fabrication, and technical troubleshooting while ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are met. Essential Responsibilities Perform preventive and predictive maintenance procedures on all tooling and related equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Plan, execute, and follow up on mold repairs. Maintain mold, secondary equipment, and preventive maintenance schedules. Design, maintain, and repair fixtures and jigs as required. Perform welding and fabrication work when needed. Submit remote work order requests and maintain accurate shift logs. Support tooling cost control, asset management, and budget requirements. Assist the Tooling Supervisor and Tooling Manager with projects and daily activities. Support special projects as assigned. Maintain knowledge of

ISO 14001, IATF

16949, and customer-specific requirements (CSR) through training and work experience. Quality, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities Take ownership of the quality of personal performance and understand its impact on safety, environmental compliance, and data security. Follow company quality management principles through continuous training, development, and adherence to procedures. Support a culture of continuous improvement and compliance with customer and company requirements. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Ability to operate or learn to operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and cranes. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required.

Pay:

$24.00
