Job Title:
Millwright Job Description We are seeking a skilled millwright to play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heavy-duty fan rotors and assemblies. These components are vital to large industrial applications and require precise assembly, adherence to engineering specifications, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities Execute precise assembly of heavy-duty fan rotors, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications, industry standards, and safety protocols. Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on fans and associated equipment, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively. Safely rig heavy equipment up to 30 tons and operate overhead cranes. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues related to fans and auxiliary equipment, implementing effective repairs. Utilize advanced alignment techniques and tools to ensure accurate positioning of fan components, bearings, and drive systems. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and colleagues. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment condition, and service reports. Collaborate effectively with engineering and design teams to enhance fan performance, reliability, and maintenance practices. Mentor apprentices within the team, fostering their growth and development. Essential Skills Expertise in assembling and maintaining heavy equipment. Proficient in blueprint reading, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rigging. Strong commitment to safety. Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems. Experience operating overhead cranes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong vocational education and apprenticeship In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems. Precision craftsmanship and hands-on experience. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
