Job Description

Millwright / Field Service Technician - Industrial Equipment Full-Time | Home Daily We are seeking an experienced Millwright / Field Service Technician to provide installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services for industrial machinery and process equipment at customer facilities. This is a hands-on position for a mechanically skilled individual who enjoys solving equipment problems, working independently, and supporting customers in the field while remaining home daily.
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, and routine service on industrial machinery Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues on roll grinding equipment, lathes, and related machinery Travel to customer sites for scheduled maintenance visits and occasional emergency service calls Install, assemble, and commission new equipment and mechanical systems Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation Assemble and disassemble machinery, components, and subassemblies for repair or installation Communicate effectively with customers, engineering personnel, and internal team members Assist with equipment assembly, repairs, and shop projects when not traveling Follow all company safety procedures and maintain high-quality workmanship
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Experience maintaining, repairing, or installing industrial manufacturing equipment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable traveling to customer locations throughout the region and responding to occasional emergency service requests Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical specifications Strong communication and customer service skills Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Millwright, Field Service Technician, or Industrial Maintenance Technician Experience servicing industrial machinery, process equipment, or manufacturing systems Working knowledge of hydraulics, lubrication systems, piping, bearings, gearboxes, and basic electrical troubleshooting Experience with roll grinding equipment, lathes, conveyors, or other heavy industrial equipment
Pay:
$26.00 - $32.00 per hour
