Job Description
Join us in rebuilding America's critical steel bridge infrastructure! Ohio Structures, located in Berlin Center, OH, has been an industry leader in steel bridge fabrication and industrial coatings for nearly 40 years and we are expanding. The only way we can continue that success is with talented and driven employees. We are hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician whose responsibilities include supporting the ongoing preventative maintenance of all steel fabrication and coatings plant equipment. Preferred experience for this candidate is at least 2 years in an industrial maintenance environment with basic hands on knowledge about mechanical, plumbing, hydraulics , and electrical systems. Our technician will work on many various types of fabrication equipment, including welding units, anglemasters, plasma/oxy burn tables, blast booth components, overhead cranes, yard cranes, grinders, mag drills, pneumatic tools, saws. Candidate must be comfortable greasing machines, performing fluid and filter changes on yard equipment, and occassionally working at a height of 30 feet. Starting base pay ($24-$25/hr, and $36-$37.50/hr OT) is based on the candidate's maintenance experience and mechanical skills. Our current typical work week is 48-50 hours, weekdays from 5AM-3PM at our shop in Berlin Center, Ohio.
