About Us Coopers Leading Edge LLC is an industrial repair and fabrication company serving clients throughout Northeast Ohio and surrounding regions. We support the waste, scrap, construction, and excavation industries with safe, reliable, and high‑quality field services. Our team is built around the values of safety, quality, and integrity . We're looking for an individual who is ready to build their skills in welding and fabrication within a team‑oriented, hands‑on environment. This role is well‑suited for someone early in their career who wants practical experience and continued long term development. Recent trade school graduates are encouraged to apply! What You'll Do Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE Learn and apply welding and fabrication techniques Use hand tools and power tools such as grinders, saws, torches, sledgehammers and welders Assist with industrial repair and fabrication projects Maintain clean and organized work areas Work independently or with a team depending on project needs Perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and material handling Travel for work as needed What We Offer Weekly pay Hands‑on training in multiple welding processes A supportive environment for early‑career skill development Attendance incentives and a performance‑based raise after 90 days Health benefits package Mileage reimbursement Boot allowance Unlimited referral bonuses A team focused on growth, safety, and quality workmanship Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Trade school experience or welding coursework is preferred, but not required. Mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to learn and follow safety guidelines Ability to lift 50 lbs unaided, and up to 100 lbs assisted Perform other physical tasks as the project requires Ability to travel for work when needed, including out‑of‑state projects Work Environment Work may take place in shop, field, or outdoor settings, or out of town, and may include exposure to noise, dust, heat, cold, and industrial equipment. PPE is required. While our shop is based in Hartville, project work may occasionally require travel both in‑state and out‑of‑state. Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
