Utility Technician

Duties & Responsibilities:

Properly loading and securing equipment and materials per Green Impressions standards. Deliver materials and equipment to job sites, following all safety and legal requirements as it pertains to properly securing loads. Run equipment on job sites as necessary. Work on jobsite projects as needed. Perform Snow Plowing & Ice Control services. Assist with shop/yard maintenance as needed. Miscellaneous errands. May perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Licenses, Certifications and Registrations:

Valid Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL A) required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA): Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Physical, Mental and Visual Demands:

Pushing or pulling of various landscaping equipment and materials. Safely operate hand and power equipment. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds using proper body mechanics. Push, pull, grip and squeeze various tools, products and/or items. Walk up to 5 miles a day, sometimes uphill and on uneven terrain, often while carrying, pushing or pulling equipment, materials or debris. Bend and kneel up to 9 hours or more a day.

Working Conditions:

Work hours vary and may exceed 10 hours per day. Work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, precipitation). Noise level may be loud at times and use of ear protection may be required.
