Nosler Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Facilities Mechanic to join our team. This is an opportunity to play a critical role in maintaining the facilities, equipment, and infrastructure that support precision manufacturing and a culture built on craftsmanship, innovation, and performance. High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of fabrication and welding experience. Experience in a mechanical field or construction background is essential. LME electrical license preferred. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a demonstrable working knowledge of basic computer use; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. The ability to effectively utilize a standard keyboard and mouse in working with the programs is required.

Physical Demands Working conditions require great mobility. Must be able to consistently move/maneuver weights of 35 to 75 pounds and occasionally lift weights of 35 to 45 pounds. Other physical aspects require bending, stooping, squatting and standing on concrete floors, which are often wet, and doing so for long periods at a time. Also required to climb ladders, retrieve materials from storage, etc. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. APPLICANT NOTICE
This position as a Facilities Mechanic begins status as "Introductory Trainee" for 60 consecutive days during which time Supervisory staff will evaluate whether the employee is suited for the position. If the employee is determined to be suitable for the job, status will then advance to "Regular Employee" on the first of the month following the 60-day introductory period and Company benefits will commence. Assignment is on 1st shift, 6:00am-2:30pm. Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Facilities Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, and structural equipment. This role performs preventative maintenance, complex repairs, facility renovations, equipment moves, and fabrication work while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with ISO quality standards. The position requires strong troubleshooting abilities, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to read and interpret technical information and measurements. Candidates should be dependable team players who can work under deadlines, adapt to changing priorities, and communicate effectively with coworkers and management. A background in fabrication, welding, mechanical systems, or construction is essential, along with at least five years of related experience. Successful candidates will also demonstrate professionalism, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and basic computer proficiency. Works on a full range of electrical, electronic, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, construction, air compressors, dryers, racking, HVAC, security, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Moves equipment from desks and chairs to 20,000 lb presses as designated by management. Proficient with all hand and power tools, electrical test equipment, gages, precision measuring devices. Performs preventative, routine and complex maintenance repairs on interior and exterior building structures, fixtures and appurtenances; heavy duty structural and mechanical equipment or HVAC and other systems. Performs restoration and renovation on facilities; builds partitions, shelving from sketches, plans or instructions, renovates furniture and equipment and may design layout to ensure most efficient use of space. Ability to function in a team, as a team player while working under repetitive conditions is imperative. Must be able to follow directions from superiors and see those instructions through to completion. Attention to detail and the ability to complete work within the requirements of a deadline is an important function of the job.
