The Millwright is responsible for the maintenance and repair of various heavy equipment, machinery and trucks. The right candidate will have the ability to trouble shoot and repair basic to complex systems, as well as experience with basic welding repairs. The primary duties are to complete all general maintenance and repair work as directed by the Team Leader or Manager. Basic welding repairs; should have knowledge of arc, wire and cutting techniques. Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability and uptime. Perform periodic maintenance routines to identify and correct mechanical defects before they fail. Maintain operations equipment to achieve optimal performance levels. Work with operations associates to identify and prioritize maintenance needs. Adhere to all safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures and actively participate in safety program.
Qualifications:
3 years minimum experience in Industrial Maintenance, 2 years related trade school training may be substituted for 2 years' experience Must have experience troubleshooting, installing, aligning, dismantling, repairing and maintaining industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability and uptime Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatics systems Experience with fabrication, cutting with a torch, welding with arc welder Experience troubleshooting issues with bearings, chains, sprockets, gearboxes, conveyors Experience with precision alignment of motors, couplings, bearings and pumps, lubrication Use a computer for record-keeping and documentation functions Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations Valid Driver License Travel in company supplied vehicles to all company locations. Supply own tools adequate to skill level
