Facilities Maintenance Technician Location:
Tualatin, Oregon Compensation:
$25-$30+/hr.
DOE Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Who We Are Our client is a large, well-established manufacturer of heavy equipment machinery and is seeking a knowledgeable, hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to support their fabrication department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and taking ownership of keeping a manufacturing facility operating safely and efficiently. What You'll Do Maintain the facility by repairing, updating, or replacing industrial equipment and infrastructure as needed. Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, operational, and in excellent working condition. Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment as well as mobile equipment, including forklifts, Hysters, and other material handling equipment. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues throughout the facility. Complete repairs on machinery, equipment, lighting, plumbing fixtures, doors, electrical switches, and other building systems. Address a wide variety of facility-related projects, from minor repairs to larger improvements such as parking lot re-striping, facility upgrades, and infrastructure improvements. Respond proactively to maintenance requests and unexpected equipment failures to minimize operational downtime. Work closely with production and management to prioritize maintenance needs and ensure the facility continues to operate efficiently. Maintain maintenance records and help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
