Your responsibilities will include:
Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues on production equipment Performing mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on machinery Welding and fabricating parts as needed to support equipment repairs Repairing and maintaining facility systems and equipment Completing general maintenance tasks throughout the plant Identifying and correcting equipment problems before they lead to downtime Working with operations and maintenance teams to keep production running smoothly Following all safety procedures while performing maintenance work This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with tools, and taking pride in keeping equipment operating at its best. Who are You? High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training, trade school certification, or an associate degree is a plus. Experience working with industrial equipment, machine controls, and 480V/3-phase electrical systems. Knowledge of HMI systems, AC/DC drives, motors, sensors, and other industrial electrical components. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, including experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and fabrication work. Valid driver's license required. Journeyman or Master Electrician license within the City of Altoona is highly desirable. Strong mechanical skills and a willingness to get your hands dirty Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment Ability to operate forklifts and manlifts (or learn quickly) Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and wearing required PPE, including respirators Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety Ability to follow directions, communicate clearly, and work as part of a team We are Offering... Starting rates from $28.77 to $32.70 per hour Shift Differential (2ndShift:
$0.70/hour & 3rdShift:
