Job Description

About Us We are a large, established, family-owned manufacturing facility in Northeast Philadelphia. We've been operating for generations because we treat our people like family, keep our word, and run a stable, steady operation year-in and year-out. We believe in second chances—if you have the mechanical skills, a solid work ethic, and show up ready to get to work, you'll find a long-term home here. What You'll Be Doing We run heavy continuous-process machinery (pumps, gearboxes, steam systems, and rotating equipment). We're looking for a hands-on Millwright or Heavy Industrial Mechanic who knows how to troubleshoot real machinery and keep a plant running smoothly.
    Pumps & Rotating Equipment:
Rebuilding, installing, and aligning centrifugal and process pumps. Replacing bearings, seals, shafts, impellers, and couplings.
      Mechanical Troubleshooting:
Diagnosing gearboxes, speed reducers, chain drives, conveyors, and belt drives.
        Steam & Hydraulics:
Maintaining equipment operating in steam/condensate loops, industrial piping, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
          Rigging & Installation:
Moving, setting, and precision-aligning heavy equipment using hoists, cranes, and laser/dial indicators.
            Basic Fabrication:
Torch cutting, pipe fitting, and stick/MIG welding when repairs require it. What We're Looking For
            • 3+ years of hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance or millwright experience in a manufacturing environment (paper mills, steel, chemical, heavy processing, or similar).
            • Solid skills with pumps, gearboxes, bearing replacements, and rotating machinery.
            • Ability to read mechanical drawings/blueprints and work comfortably around heavy equipment.
            • A practical, problem-solving mindset—someone who takes pride in doing the job right. Pay & Benefits
            Top Pay:
$28-$40.00 per hour depending on experience + steady overtime availability.
              Full Benefits:

Paid holidays, vacation, and sick time.
                  Stability:
Job security with a multigenerational, family-owned company that values its workers.
                  Second Chance Employer:
We evaluate candidates on their skills, character, and current work ethic. Individuals with a criminal record are encouraged to apply. Ready to get to work? with your resume or work history, or contact us directly to set up an interview.
