Description Marshall Industrial Technologies:
Industrial Millwright needed. We are a growing employee-owned multi location industrial service provider. At Marshall Industrial Technologies we strive to provide superior welding, fabricating, mechanical, installation, HVAC, and electrical need throughout the Lehigh Valley, surrounding PA and NJ counties. We are looking for experienced welders and millwrights to join our team and expand our business. The right candidate will have at least 3 years of welding and millwright experience, have a positive attitude, and a will to learn and carry our various daily jobs activities as needed. A Millwright, or Industrial Mechanic, operates industrial machinery found in construction sites, factories, power plants, and other sectors. Their duties include installing equipment, repairing items, and transferring machinery to needed locations. Our goal is to be the first call when there is a need for industrial work, as we strive to be the #1 single-source solution for equipment installation, machinery repair, electrical work, and plant maintenance needs. Responsibilities and Duties may include but are not limited to: Weld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams, and pipelines. Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job. Maintain and repair all machinery. Assess welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors. Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes. Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions and/or types Stick (SMAW), Tig (GTAW), Mig (GMAW), Flux Cored (FCAW) Able to safely use various types of processing equipment and machinery Knowledge of valves, fittings, filters, and associated parts for piping systems Must be able to operate the following tools: Pipe threading machine Burning Torch Grinder Port-a-Band Chain Fall Ensures housekeeping conformance of jobsite, including trailers, trucks, laydown, and waste storage areas, to Marshall and/or customer standards. Develops and maintains their own technical competence. Completes other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Must have a valid license. At least 5 years of previous experience Ability to perform the duties assigned without physical limitations.
