Job Purpose and Summary:
RHI Magnesita is seeking an experienced Industrial Multicraft Maintenance Technician in York, PA production facility. This role is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and support production goals.
Essential Job Requirements:
Conduct repairs, trouble shooting and preventive maintenance on equipment at RHI Magnesita facilities. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. Must show ability to get to the root cause and make and implement recommendations to improve reliability. Repair or replace faulty parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and assorted industrial equipment. Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematic prints to perform required maintenance and service. Plan for the acquisition of spare and wear parts for the maintenance of equipment. Assist with inventory management functions. Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed. Technical acceptance of new equipment and repairs in suppliers' workshops. Adherence to all safety requirements and use of appropriate PPE Education and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent 3-5+ years of industrial maintenance experience
Knowledge, Skills, and General Abilities:
Possess strong electrical and analytical aptitude. Ability to read blueprints and schematics, PLC, and ladder logic program knowledge, as well as electrical wiring and troubleshooting. PLC troubleshooting experience. Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of AC/DC drives and motors. Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of robots and associated controls. Working knowledge of diagnostic and repair of industrial equipment and mechanical systems Proficiency in using hand and power tools to repair and maintain equipment Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and written Ability to work safely and efficiently independently and with others. Self-motivated and reliable.
