This dynamic role combines precision mechanical work with advanced welding techniques to ensure the optimal operation and maintenance of industrial equipment. Duties Install, align, dismantle, and troubleshoot complex machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and precision measuring instruments. Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including welding, to repair or fabricate metal components in accordance with safety standards. Conduct preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and electrical systems involving high voltage and low voltage components. Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ammeters, ohmmeters, and other analysis tools to diagnose electrical and mechanical issues efficiently. Operate field service equipment such as scissor lifts to access elevated machinery safely during maintenance or installation activities. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals to execute repairs accurately. Maintain detailed records of work performed within CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance history and scheduling future tasks. Provide excellent customer service by collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or millwright within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong welding skills with proficiency in welding techniques; certification is preferred. Knowledge of hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, electrical circuits (including high voltage and low voltage), and industrial maintenance practices. Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical drawings accurately. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician skills such as using ammeters and ohmmeters for troubleshooting. Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and documentation. Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and efficiently; relevant certifications are advantageous. Excellent analysis skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments. Strong communication skills in English; military experience or background is considered a plus for discipline and technical aptitude. Demonstrated customer service orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
