  • Full-time The Material Handling Division of Nashville Wire Products, an established local manufacturer of steel wire products for the material handling industry, is growing and accepting resumes for Multi Craft Industrial Maintenance Technician for our Springfield, Tennessee location.
This position's duties include preventive maintenance activities, troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing machinery and equipment. This position sets-up, integrates and troubleshoots program logic controllers on machinery, hydraulic and mechanical stamping presses, and various resistance welding systems with a goal of minimizing downtime and recurring problems. Performs preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maintain maximum production and quality. Positions have a strong emphasis on electrical, however, mechanical experience is required.
Shift Hours:
5:00 am
  • 3:30 pm Mon-Fri with additional overtime as required to meet customer demands.
This position typically works approximately 50 hours per week. We are currently offering a Double Time incentive for ALL overtime hours worked .
Maintenance Class B pay progression:
$32.50 start, $33.50 at 90 days, $34.50 at 1 year. 50 hour week and double time 1 year rate rate annualized is approximately $107,500 Maintenance Class A pay progression: $35.50 start, $36.50 at 90 days, $37.75 at 1 year. 50 hour week l and double time 1 year rate rate annualized is approximately $117,750 Applicants must have a steady work history in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Successful applicants must pass math test that includes adding and subtracting tape measure fractions, tape measure reading test, mechanical aptitude evaluation, drug screen, and 7-year background check for misdemeanors and felonies. Full time benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance availability first of month after 30 days of service, 40 hours vacation after 6 months of service, 80 hours vacation after 1 year of service, 10 hours of paid sick time every 90 days of service until you have completed 1 year of service, then 30 hours of paid sick time annually, 401k with 100% match up to 4% following 1 year of service, 9 paid holidays, employer paid short and long term disability, $1/hour shift differential for night shift, and 1 year pay progression top out. We are currently offering a Double Time incentive for ALL overtime hours worked.
