Job Overview Berry Accurate Machine & Fabrication is a growing industrial service company serving the Gulf Coast and Greater Houston area. We specialize in rotating equipment repair, precision machining, custom fabrication, field machining, specialize in laser alignment, and industrial millwright services. We're expanding into a new facility with dedicated mechanical repair, machine shop, and fabrication buildings, and we're continuing to grow our field service division. We are seeking an experienced Industrial Millwright / Rotating Equipment Technician to become a key member of our mechanical repair team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys a variety of work, both in the shop and at customer facilities. You'll be involved in everything from rebuilding rotating equipment to supporting field installations and precision alignments. This is not a repetitive plant maintenance position. Every project is different, and quality always comes first. Responsibilities Inspect, disassemble, repair, and rebuild rotating equipment Perform pump, gearbox, blower, fan, and other mechanical equipment overhauls Install bearings, seals, sleeves, shafts, couplings, and other precision components Perform precision laser shaft alignments and machinery alignment Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and identify root causes of failures Perform field millwright work including equipment installation, maintenance, and repairs Work closely with machinists and fabricators to complete customer repairs Read mechanical drawings, assembly prints, OEM manuals, and equipment documentation Maintain accurate measurements and quality standards throughout each repair Follow company safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment Required Experience & Skills 5+ years of industrial millwright or rotating equipment experience Experience repairing pumps, gearboxes, compressors, blowers, or similar rotating equipment Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience with precision measuring instruments Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and tolerances Experience performing machinery installation and alignment Comfortable working both in the shop and in the field Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Growth Opportunity This is an opportunity to join Berry Accurate Machine & Fabrication during an exciting period of growth.
