Job Summary:
Perform general mechanical and industrial electrical maintenance work on all production & grounds equipment. Performs duties such as rebuilds, troubleshooting controls and general repairs. Works with pumps, hydraulics, conveyors and pneumatics. Also performs machine installation, construction and facility maintenance.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Perform basic mechanical & electrical maintenance repairs. Responds to all emergency line calls quickly & cooperatively. Preventative maintenance on all machines. Responsible for maintaining and servicing specific equipment such as HVAC, compressors, facilities equipment and powered industrial vehicles. Troubleshoot electrical & mechanical problems on all equipment such as extruders, conveyors and packaging equipment. Set up equipment for product changeovers, start ups and monitor cleaning for prevention of damage due to improper use. Perform basic computer functions such as data entry, look up inventory stock locations, log downtime comments & minutes. Set up and operate various power tools and equipment. Read and understand meters and gauges. Solid knowledge of industrial mechanic principles including hydraulics, pneumatics, electric motors, controls and wiring.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED 2 years prior experience Industrial Maintenance Specialized training in welding or fabrication Ability to read wire schematics is a plus
