Job Description

Operate and maintain compressors, dryers, chillers, and related utility equipment to ensure reliable operation and minimal downtime. Contribute to the systematic identification and resolution of equipment and system issues within the assigned area of responsibility. Support the achievement of the organization's strategic and operational objectives. Ensure all activities are performed safely and in compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate chiller systems, air compressors, and dryers in accordance with established operational parameters and best practices. Perform preventive maintenance on chillers, compressors, and dryers, ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules and technical specifications. Conduct routine inspections, equipment rounds, and operational data verification to monitor equipment performance and operating conditions. Provide support to other operational areas as required when assigned equipment is out of service. Monitor and optimize energy consumption and operating efficiency of all assigned equipment. Ensure a continuous and reliable supply of compressed air to production lines, minimizing disruptions to manufacturing operations. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in all designated work areas, in accordance with safety regulations. Accurately complete and maintain documentation in compliance with good documentation practices, including work orders, daily logs, spare parts records, and related documentation. Support the preservation, integrity, and proper functioning of production equipment, utility systems, and plant infrastructure. Adhere strictly to established procedures, policies, and operational standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience operating and maintaining industrial utility equipment such as chillers, air compressors, dryers, pumps, and related systems. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills and experience using CMMS systems preferred. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to noise, heat, and machinery. May require lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Full-time position with flexibility to support operational needs during non-standard hours, weekends, holidays, or emergency situations as required.
Pay:
$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
