Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator/Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of tractors and machinery. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work efficiently in outdoor environments. Responsibilities Operate tractors with batwings, skid steer with mulcher and other attachments, mini excavator and large excavator for various tasks including mowing, clearing and construction. Must have a clean driving record and be able to drive a truck with a gooseneck trailer. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety. Assist in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring quality standards are met. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use. Leading a small crew for efficient and safe completion of projects. Skills Proficiency in operating heavy machinery with a focus on safety. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively. Ability to use both power tools and hand tools competently in various tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing projects. Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
