Frequent travel required (up to 2 weeks at a time) Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Lightning Protection Installer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and comfortable working in physically demanding environments. Our team installs high-quality lightning protection systems across oilfield and industrial sites throughout Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. This is a hands-on position working at heights, in varying weather conditions, and in active industrial environments. We take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and attention to detail, and we are looking for someone who shares that commitment. Key Responsibilities Install lightning protection systems on industrial structures including: Tank batteries Saltwater disposal sites Refineries Gas plants Compressor stations Conventional systems on buildings and other structures Work from elevated surfaces such as lifts, rooftops, towers, and tops of tanks Safely operate hand tools, drills, and installation equipment Travel to job sites across multiple states for extended periods Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety Collaborate with team members to complete installations efficiently Qualifications Mechanically inclined with ability to use basic hand tools and drills Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding conditions Willingness to travel for up to two weeks at a time Strong work ethic and self-starter mentality Highly motivated with a desire to learn and grow Ability to work well with a team in a close-knit environment Capable of working in extreme heat and cold Valid drivers license Able to pass drug test Preferred (not required): H2S Awareness certification Supplied Air experience Experience in oilfield or industrial environments Training & Development On-the-job training provided Opportunity to become trained to UL 96A and
NFPA 780
